In the Middle of an Earthquake? Twitter it then run for Safety

So Los Angeles had an earthquake the other day and as a general my first rule of thumb in any natural disaster is to get to safety.
Turns out I was wrong,
According to Los Angeles Times, Americans Twittered first and then got to safety - just goes to show how much our friends over the pond like to gossip.
Too much Oprah IMO
